The Sd. Kfz. 251/1 was the primary armored Personnel carrier of the German Wehrmacht during World War 2. It was produced by Hanomag in large numbers and was used on every front of the war. Being a half-tracked vehicle, it was capable of transversing difficult terrain much easier than a fully-wheeled truck. It was armed with up to two machine guns that provided support for a dismounted infantry squad.
