The Bergepanther Type G was developed in Germany to recover large tanks that became incapacitated; it was based on a remodeled Panther tank. The turret was not installed, and a 2cm cannon was mounted in front of the hull; it was equipped with a winch and spade for recovery.
At first, the D/A body was used, but in the fall of 1944, it was changed to the G type. This model kit from Hobby Boss precisely models the late version of this vehicle, with connection assembly-type crawler tracks and photo-etched parts.
